Congratulations to Rox Anne L., winner of the Lakeside Sponsorship Raffle - Benefiting Hal Warheim Park. We drew her name Friday night and contacted her soon after. She was beyond thrilled!
To all of you who supported Hal Warheim Park through this raffle, THANK YOU! You are the reason Hal Warheim Park continues to be an oasis in the Highlands.
We raised over $8000 with the raffle. All money raised goes towards maintenance and beautification of the park. Here are a few ways we will use the money:
Repair the bridge.
Replenish rocks in the wash under the bridge.
Purchase mulch for all landscaped areas.
Possible expansion of butterfly garden at entrance.
Replace missing/damaged plaques on named trees, shrubs and play equipment.
Replace shrubs that died as a result of last summer’s drought.
Add rubber mats under swings.
Come visit us! Relax on a swing in the meditation garden, explore the tree sculptures by renown sculpturist Joe Autrey, plan a birthday party and let the kids go wild on the play equipment. There is something for everyone at Hal Warheim Park.
